Explorers

We are explorers in the wilderness. Moving for weeks, through seemly virgin forest, only to come across an old camp fire. Then we realize that others have come before.

We must learn to travel lightly and avoid beaten paths, less we destroy the very things we seek:

"Improvement makes straight roads, but crooked roads without improvement are roads of genius."
-Wm Blake

Our heroes are "Dead Poets", the ancient map makers whose maps leave vast empty spaces: "Here be dragons!"

How to be a true Christian

1. Take the Old Testament out of your bible and throw it away.
2. Memorize and meditate on all the words and phrases in the New Testament that Jesus is reputed to have said.
3. Throw the New Testament away.

"If you know what you are doing you are blessed."

"Seek and ye shall find. Ask and it shall be given."

Or as the Buddha said: "Find your own way."

One William Blake is worth more than ten thousand Sunday morning preachers.
