Holograms

Using computer controlled tunable laser/masers, holograms can be constructed at any frequency in the electromagnetic spectrum. (Holograms can also be constructed using sound waves.) Such a system would be the ultimate mimic/cloaking device. In StarTrek the holodeck was inside the Enterprise. In reality, the Enterprise will be inside the holodeck.
